Outlander Season 5, Episode 10 was largely focused on Brianna and Bonnet, but there were some excellent moments for all. Here are the five best moments.

We got some excellent moments for all characters on Outlander Season 5, Episode 10. This was despite it being a major episode for Brianna and Bonnet. It’s time to break down the episode to look at the five best moments.

As with previous look backs like this, I’m focusing on the episodes as a whole. I’ve already looked at Jamie’s strongest moments and at Roger’s standout scenes. Tomorrow there will be individual Claire and Brianna posts. This is about looking at how everything came together, standout moments for other characters, and major moments for pushing the show forward.

And this episode certainly pushes the show forward sort of into unknown territory. A character that’s still alive in the books is now dead and another character’s storyline has been brought forward to this season. What does that mean for remaining storylines in “The Fiery Cross” and for Outlander Season 6?

That’s for another post. Right now, we’re looking at the five best moments from Outlander Season 5, Episode 10.

5. Young Ian’s clothing

When I saw the images for Outlander Season 5, Episode 10, I wondered if Young Ian was going to make a point of returning to the life of a man of the Colonies. I thought the clothing choice was him brushing off his Mohawk life and starting afresh at Fraser’s Ridge.

While that would have been understandable, I’m so glad the show opted to give us something else. Young Ian was just playing a part. His clothing choice was as a way to look like Alexander Malcolm. At the end of the episode, he was back in his usual threads that we’ve come to see him in throughout Season 5. He’s not putting that part of his life behind him but owning it.
