Outlander Season 5 promos focusing on individual characters are exciting

STARZ is bringing Outlander Season 5 promos focused on the individual characters. It’s an exciting way to get ready for a season with an ensemble cast.

STARZ has been pushing the Outlander Season 5 promotion, and part of that has involved individual posters and teasers. It’s an excellent way to mark the move into the ensemble cast.

There are some people disappointed that Claire and Jamie haven’t been featured yet. However, it’s clear that this is all done in reverse billing order. So, Claire and Jamie will come very soon. In fact, it looks like it’s one character per week, which will mean we’ll be focused on Brianna for a while longer before moving onto others.

And taking the time has been an excellent decision. It’s all started with Roger and we’re slowly moving into each other character, making the move from being about Claire and Jamie to being about the entire family. We’re moving from just two leads to an ensemble cast. Yes, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan are still the leads, but others are starting to get more screentime and this is fitting with the books.

The promotional material gets us ready for this move. During Season 4, there were some complaints that there were episodes without Claire and Jamie. However, these episodes were among my favorites, offering a new story and a new couple to watch learn the ways of the 18th century.

By getting fans ready for the move into Season 5, there will hopefully be fewer complaints. After all, the show really is sticking to the books when it comes to this move. If you’re disappointed now, wait until we move into books that focus on other side characters like Lord John Grey and Willie!

The Outlander Season 5 promotions also allow us to get to know the characters a little more. We see everything Roger and Brianna stand for, getting a chance to know these new versions that we’re going to meet. After all, the journey in the 18th century during Season 4 has changed them. We’re picking up with the wedding in Season 5, which means they’ve gone through other changes up to this point.

Plus, the extra promotion overall is certainly appreciated. It’s getting many of us ready for the new season.
