So, how exactly did the episode do in terms of the ratings? Episode 7 saw a 39% boost in the key demo, according to TV Series Finale. Of course, that’s not the ratings figure that STARZ would really be concerned about since there isn’t the reliance on commercials. However, it does show the popularity of the episode.

The total audience figures jumped up by a healthy 15%. That meant three weeks in a row, the total audience figures increased up to this point. It would follow suit the next episode. In the end, “The Wedding” saw 1.233 million people tuning in live (according to the Nielsen ratings, which doesn’t include the viewers through the STARZ app or delayed viewing).

Is it really all that surprising? This was the episode so many had waited for. Fans needed to see if the wedding would be as romantic, special, and also as funny as it’s written in the book. And there’s no denying that it was. It remains a firm favorite episode.
