The deal is only on the first book and only in eBook form. Of course, if you want to get your hands on the paperback or hardback, you still can. Many other websites, such as Amazon and Barnes and Nobel, will sell the books and may have their own Labor Day specials happening.

When you get the eBook version of the book, you’ll also get an excerpt from Dragonfly in Amber, the second book in the series. This second book is what the second season is based on, but again, goes into so much more detail and even starts completely differently.

The eBook version also comes with a reader’s guide to the series and an interview from Diana Gabaldon, the author.

There’s only a limited time to get this deal. The email and Diana Gabaldon’s Facebook posts don’t give an end date. It could be until the end of the day or maybe a little later. It’s best just to take advantage right now.
