The end of Droughtlander is in sight. Outlander Season 5 officially has a premiere date. Look out February 2020! Sassenachs are coming for ya!
There is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. Outlander Season 5 will premiere in February 2020, and we couldn’t be more excited to hear!
The official return date for the show is Feb. 16, 2020. This isn’t quite the January release date that some people were hoping for, but it’s earlier than the March date that I expected—and I’ll happily say that my prediction was wrong.

To be honest, when I predict something, I go with the latest date I think it’s going to be. That way, if something comes out earlier than expected, I’m happily surprised. There’s no disappointment that Droughtlander will be longer.
STARZ announced the season with a new image from production. Jamie, Claire, and Brianna have a look of fear and concern on their faces. Who or what are they looking at? Could it be Redcoats or the Regulators on their way to Fraser’s Ridge or is Stephen Bonnet back and ready for trouble?
This is an exciting announcement for fans. We’ve needed to know when the show has returned for too long. While it will be a longer wait than we necessarily wanted, it’s slighter shorter than the wait between Seasons 2 and 3. Plus, we finally have a light at the end of the tunnel.
What does this mean for promos? I’ll speculate a little more on that over the weekend and into next week. However, there is more of a chance of at least a sneak peek at NYCC, if not more!
