The Outlander Kitchen Cookbook Vol. 2 will be coming to bookstores soon
Good news for those who want to make delicious recipes inspired by Outlander. The Outlander Kitchen Cookbook Vol. 2 is on its way soon.
The Outlander Kitchen Cookbook is an excellent accompaniment for all Sassenachs. The first volume is inspired by some of the dishes and settings of the books and show. Fans get the chance to immerse themselves in the world of Claire and Jamie from the Highlands to Paris and beyond with recipes set for the modern-day.
For those who want to experience more, there’s great news because The Outlander Kitchen Cookbook Vol. 2 is on its way. There is no clear date just yet, but Diana Gabaldon confirmed on Facebook that the cookbook will be available either late 2019 or early 2020. It looks like everything is happening in the new year!

The cookbook nearly didn’t happen. In fact, if it was only the books, it possibly wouldn’t have happened in an official capacity. While there is a fanbase for these things, cookbooks aren’t all that popular and a lot will go unread. Publishers don’t necessarily want to run the risk of creating one.
However, Gabaldon knew how great this cookbook could be. She’s the one that helped push it into a full creation, bringing professionally created recipes based on the tastes of the settings and descriptions within the books to life for those cooking at home.
There are no details about the second book, whether it will be based on specific books or seasons of the show. I’m not sure that’s going to matter to Sassenachs out there. We’ll buy just to have more Claire and Jamie in our lives, right?
