Sassenachs in the UK will finally get a chance to watch Outlander Season 3 on network TV. More4 will air the premiere this week. Get all the details.

UK fans have waited a long time for the third season of Outlander. Yes, it’s possible to watch at the same time as the U.S. with Amazon Prime, but not everyone has or wants to get Prime Video. Some want to watch it on network TV and that’s possible starting this week.

Outlander Season 3 begins on More4 on Wednesday, July 10. You’ll be able to watch it each week, seeing Claire and Jamie’s story from the start of the 20-year separation.

More from Outlander Fandom

Picking up from the events of the second season finale (and actually the events of the second season premiere, just to get confusing), Claire is now in the 1940s in Boston. She’s agreed to move away from the UK with Frank, where the two will raise Claire’s child with Jamie together, believing Jamie to be dead.

On the contrary, Jamie survived the Battle of Culloden, albeit barely. He manages to avoid execution but the threat against him isn’t over. What happens when the Redcoats continually cause problems for Lallybroch? What’s the tipping point for a hiding Jamie?

You’ll be able to watch each episode on a weekly basis. If you do decide you want to get fully caught up ahead of Season 5, you can always sign up for Amazon Prime Video and watch the fourth season. However, there are benefits of watching through More4 — it’s clear that there’s an interest in the series.
