The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance trailer: Get a first look at the new Netflix Original
Caitriona Balfe does the voice for one of the characters in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. While you don’t hear her in the trailer, you’ll want to check it out to see what to expect from the upcoming Netflix Original.
During Droughtlander, we’re always looking for a way to make it through. While Outlander Seasons 1 and 2 coming to Netflix U.S. has certainly helped, sometimes we want something different and immerse ourselves into a new universe. That’s what you get the chance to do with the upcoming Netflix Original, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
Okay, so it’s not a new universe. The series is based on the 1980s movie, The Dark Crystal but set years earlier. This is leading up to the war, and Caitriona Balfe does the voice of one of the characters.

Very little is known right now. We don’t even have the name of Balfe’s character, but we do now get to see a trailer. It’s the first look at the movie through something other than images and will certainly draw you into the world of magical creatures and a mysterious stone.
I think the music will also draw many Outlander fans in. While it’s not Bear McCreary, there’s certainly a Highland connection to the beautiful pieces throughout. It adds a deeper layer to this mysterious world.
