Like all episodes, there were some moments that stood out more than others. Here are my five favorite moments from Outlander Season 1, Episode 12.

5. Seeing a different side of Jamie

I love that we got the chance to see another side of Jamie Fraser. He’s no longer a man on the run or hiding out at his uncle’s home. Now he’s a laird and he needs to act like that.

We see his demeanor shift throughout the episode for various reasons. One of those that stands out is when he steps up as laird of the house, and he treats everyone as he thinks he should in that position. We see a side to Jamie that we haven’t seen before, adding another layer to the character.

This also gets us ready for Outlander Season 2. We get a chance to see his ability to run a household, which he needs to do in Paris.
