5 top moments from Outlander Season 7, Episode 8

Daniel showed why he hates the British, and the Frasers get to go back to Scotland. Here are the five best moments from Outlander Season 7, Episode 8.

There were certainly some excellent moments throughout Outlander Season 7, Episode 8. The finale left us with some major cliffhangers for all the characters, and there is a major threat against Rachel now that an enemy has turned back up.

We go into another Droughtlander, but not without a few things to break down. It’s time to look back at the best moments from the Outlander Season 7A finale.

Daniel showing his hatred for the British

Everyone has their reasons to fight for freedom. For some, it was being disenfranchised due to unfair taxes. For others, it was personal. Daniel Morgan showed off his reason for hating the British in a speech that was designed to rally the troops. It was filled with memories of Outlander Season 1 as Dougal raised money for the Jacobite cause.

Daniel took off his own shirt and showed off his back. There were scars all down his back, and Daniel shared that he got 499 lashes—it was supposed to be 500, but the person doing the whipping lost count but Daniel didn’t.

Jamie never told Daniel about his own lashes but noted that Daniel viewed then as kindred spirits. They certainly are.

By the way, this was all real. Daniel Morgan is a real person from history and he did receive 500 lashes and he survived! He just wasn’t meant to.
