What’s included in the Outlander Season 4 Collector’s Edition?
The Outlander Season 4 DVD and Blu-ray will be here before you know it. The Collector’s Edition is one that many fans look out for and it’s coming in May. What will you get in this extra special edition of the boxset?
In May, Outlander fans will get their Blu-ray or DVD set of the fourth season. Like previous years, there’s an Outlander Season 4 Collector’s Edition, which many fans are already pre-ordering on Amazon. The big question for many is what it will include.
Like the Blu-ray, it will include all 13 episodes of the fourth season, the deleted scenes, and the four bonus scenes that are known as Outlander Untold. The exact nature of the bonus features won’t be revealed until April, but they’ll be included on all sets too.

So, what will the Collector’s Edition have as extra? There’s more than just the exclusive packaging, although that is going to be an exciting talking point. The boxset will include early access to the soundtrack to the fourth season. This suggests that unlike last year, the soundtrack is going to be released sometime after the DVD — the third season soundtrack came out before the DVD boxset.
Still need more? There’s going to be an excerpt from Diana Gabaldon’s ninth novel, which is set to be released sometime in 2019. Since the excerpt will be on the Collector’s Edition, it suggests that the ninth book, titled “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone,” won’t be released until the back end of 2019.
