3 best Roger moments in Outlander Season 4, Episode 13
The Outlander Season 4 finale didn’t give us too much Roger, but it was enough for many to feel for him. Here are Roger’s best moments in Outlander Season 4, Episode 13.
After the events of Outlander Season 4, Episode 12, it wasn’t surprising to start the finale with Roger sitting in the “idiot hut” and just waiting for whatever sentence would be delivered onto him. However, that wasn’t all we got from the man. The finale delivered some powerful scenes, showing just how human he is.

While some don’t think Roger is redeemable, I certainly do. I’ll explain more about that as I get to some of the best moments from Roger in Outlander Season 4, Episode 13.
3. His reaction to Claire and Jamie rescuing him
My first favorite moment is when he’s in the hut and Claire and Jamie go into rescue him in the dead of night. He’s surprised to see them and it’s clear that initially, he thinks that he’s heading off to his death or it’s one of the Mohawks. However, he then realizes that Claire is there.
That also means he sees Jamie, and his shock turns to fear and a bit of anger. He knows Jamie as the man who beat him. All this time, he believed that Brianna had sent Jamie to beat him to a pulp and possibly kill him, so it’s not surprising that he was shocked to find out that Jamie was there.
He doesn’t have too much time to think, which keeps this scene realistic. Knowing Claire is there to rescue him, he just has to trust her to get him out alive.
