2. Sharing the similarities between Brianna and Jamie

At the end, we get Claire and Jamie’s makeup scene. There are two moments from this scene that I love from Claire in Outlander Season 4, Episode 11. The first is when Claire talks about Brianna.

Jamie is upset about the words Brianna said to him. As he admits that he’s jealous of Frank, he shares that he doesn’t feel needed. He’s taken Brianna’s words to heart about going to Hell, and as a religious man he believes her.

With everything that had happened, Claire is finally ready to let Jamie in. She’s ready to help him.

Claire is the one to help explain things. Something that many people overlook is just how similar Brianna and Jamie are in terms of attitude. If anyone is going to understand this, Claire would. She’s been with Jamie and she’s been with Brianna, learning their personality traits and how they lash out in anger.

While explaining, Claire remains calm. She is kind and loving, as she realizes why Jamie has taken so much to heart, she sees her way to help him. We get the chance to see the two connect again, meaning they can now move forward (and Young Ian doesn’t have to deal with the tension anymore.
