Want to work on the Outlander Season 5 production?

If you’re a fan of Outlander and have an interest in the production work, you may be in for a lucky surprise. Outlander Season 5 is looking for new trainees to work with the current production staff.

Outlander fans who would love to be part of the team that brings the show to life are in for a lucky surprise. Outlander Season 5 is hiring new trainees to work with the current team. This is in areas such as production design, costuming, and rigging.

There are regular meetings with the production staff and you’ll learn the ins and outs of the trade. If this sounds like something for you then you’ll need to get your application in fast. The deadline is Nov. 19 with interviews being held between Nov. 26 and Dec. 7.

You’ll need to be eligible to work in the UK and at least 18-years-old. Having a basic understanding of the TV and film industry is also a must. Being residents in Scotland is needed as the production is based in Cumbernauld. The good news is if you have the legal right to work in the UK, you could look at moving to Scotland.

Unfortunately, there’s a requirement that will prevent many of us apply. There’s a need to have at least one credit from a professional product, but at the same time, applicants can’t have more than 12 months of paid experience within their chosen department. After all, this is a trainee position.

The production is look for p to 18 hopefuls. Depending on the role, you’ll be paid between £386 and £545 per week for your work. You can get more information from the Screen-Skills site, which also has the details to apply.

While this may not be for all, there is some news we can take from the call. Outlander Season 5 production will start Dec. 10. The writing has been underway for a few months now and filming will start sometime in the New Year. It shows just how much work goes into the preparation of the sets, costumes, and rigging for filming.

The trainee role will end in October 2019, suggesting filming will take about nine months if it starts in February. That’s about the same as Season 4.
