Caitriona Balfe does her best Jamie Fraser impression in Outlander promo

Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan read fans’ tweets in an Outlander promo video. Caitriona certainly did her best impression of Jamie Fraser during it.

With STARZ adding more promotional material for Outlander, it was only a matter of time before Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan read the tweets from the fans. During the two-minute video, Caitriona had the chance to do her best Jamie Fraser impression. She’s certainly spent plenty of time with the man.

It’s clear the two still have an awesome relationship behind the scene, which helps with their chemistry on the screen. Both had fun reading out and reacting to the tweets. It all started with one from someone who mentioned struggling to get a guy an hour away because it’s “too far.” As Caitriona said, you really need to check the men you’re going after!

Eventually, the two got to a tweet about how Jamie can be focused on expectations of the time one minute and then want Claire to teach him the ways of the 20th century. This is an awesome part of the show. While at times, Jamie is a man of his time, there are plenty of other occasions where he could fit into the 20th century way of life.

This is the point where Caitriona Balfe’s Jamie Fraser impression comes in. The two have clearly had fun impersonating each other before because Sam suggested immediately that she read out the Jamie Fraser lines.
