Outlander Season 4 is certainly going to see a change of pace and setting. While the season may have filmed in Scotland, Claire and Jamie are in the Colonies to set up their new home. Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan recently shared where the characters are in their relationship together and where the fourth season will find them.
Talking to Entertainment Tonight’s Leanna Aguilera, the pair shared that the two are finally on the same page. They’ve matured over the years and they finally have a chance to take a breather. At least for a while. We can’t expect life to just get cozy and normal for them, can we?

Outlander Season 4 will definitely see the two build a home together. This is something we’ve been teased about for the last year or so from the showrunners and stars of the show. They’ve never had a place to call home as a couple, so they’ll get to work setting that up when they get to North Carolina.
Balfe did share that there would be a little less steaminess on a skin-deep level. Their love goes much deeper than that and we’ll find out just how deep in this coming season. We’d already seen a change of pace to their lovemaking in the third season and it looks like that will continue.
This is natural in a way. They’re out of the honeymoon phase and now in the family phase. Relationship dynamics change and that’s certainly not a bad thing. In fact, the shifts in the last three seasons have been believable, so Outlander Season 4 shouldn’t be any different.
