First Outlander Season 4 trailer officially drops and it’s all Claire and Jamie
The first trailer for Outlander Season 4 is finally out. Dropped through ET Online exclusively, the trailer shows Claire and Jamie and the dangers of the New World.
If you thought Outlander Season 4 was going to see things slow down for Claire and Jamie, you’d be wrong. The first trailer for the season, which was exclusive to ET Online, is finally out and it shows just how dangerous the New World is. We also get our first glimpses of a few important characters, with two specifically missing. Most of the focus is on Claire and Jamie.
We knew the Frasers were heading to the Colonies and would remain there for the season. They’re setting up a home, as the theme for the fourth season is “home and family.” However, it’s not going to be as easy as they’d hoped, with riots, hangings, and Irish pirates showing up–yes, there was a first look at Ed Speleers as Stephen Bonnet.

Maria Doyle Kennedy and Colin McFarlane both appeared in the trailer, but there were two notably missing: Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin. There wasn’t even a hint at what Brianna and Roger are even getting up to in the future, let alone seeing them in the past.
What we do get are glimpses of the dangers of the New World, with also a look at another person from the future in the past. Well, just a skeleton now, but it was a person at some point. Claire notes that the silver filings mean that this person is from at least 100 years in the future from where she and Jamie are now. Is this a message from the future?
Outlander Season 4 still doesn’t have a premiere date, but at least there are 55 seconds of trailery goodness to delve into. Check it out below from the official Starz YouTube channel.
