Six years ago, before Outlander even had the greenlight with stars, Terry Dresbach was working on costume ideas. As a thank you to fans, she’s opening the board to see the costumes and sets that helped to kickstart the show.

Six years ago, we had no idea there would be an Outlander TV series. Starz was still to greenlight it and all the work was behind the scenes. What better way than to show the beauty of the costumes and sets that could be created?

This wasn’t easy. The team had no actors or scripts to work with. Terry and co. had to go through the books scene by scene, picking out the most important and iconic storylines for the fans. Those scenes and chapters had to be developed to encourage Starz to greenlight the series and help Ron D. Moore really sell the series.

Of course, we know it all worked out. We have the series now. However, we’ve never been able to see those beautiful outfits and designs from the earlier days. Not all of them will have made it to the series.

More from Outlander Fandom

As Terry Dresbach steps away from making more Outlander costumes, she’s decided to open more boards. The latest as a thank you to the fans is those costumes that helped to greenlight the series. There are costumes on mannequins and drawings of designs and ideas to help bring the story of Claire and Jamie to life.

Earlier this year, Dresbach started opening more of her Pinterest boards for fans to follow. If you already follow her, then you’ll already be able to see the beautiful costumes. Fans have even shared how you can make sure you follow the real Terry Drebach, as there are a few imitators on the site.

Pinterest has gone through a number of changes in recent months. It’s not always simple to find the board and for some reason the profile didn’t come up in my searches, but I got to it. You can follow Terry Dresbach on Pinterest here!

There will be more to come as Outlander Season 4 airs. This is a beautiful present to the fans and certainly a fun way to get through Droughtlander.
