Tobias Menzies raffles quilt by Outlander fans for WaterAid
Tobias Menzies is raising money and awareness for WaterAid. You get the chance to win a signed quilt made by Outlander fans.
While we may know Tobias Menzies as the evil and sadistic Black Jack Randall or the adulterous and sometimes cold Frank Randall on Outlander, the man is nothing like his characters. He really is an excellent actor and beautiful soul. To show that, he’s raising money and awareness for WaterAid to help millions of people around the world without access to clean, sanitary drinking water.
And there is an Outlander link with this cause. To raise the money, he’s creating a raffle. Anyone who donates $25 or more will be automatically entered into a raffle for a beautiful quilt that has been handmade by various Outlander fans and signed by the actor. There are various scenes from the series on the quilt, giving you something to hang or use on your bed when you need to feel closer to Claire, Jamie, and all those you live vicariously through on the screen.
The Outlander fan-made quilt isn’t all

If you hoped for more, there are other prizes in this grand prize. Two tickets for the official Outlander New Jersey con in August are also available for the winner, along with photo ops with Cesar Domboy, Graham McTavish, and Stephen Walters.
You’ll also get the chance to tour the WaterAid HQ in New York and get a WaterAid SWAG bag to show off your charitable support.
While one donation will get you one entry, you can make multiple $25 donations to receive multiple entries. There’s no limit to the number of times you can enter, encouraging the donations for the charity.
The downside is that it’s only open to those in the United States (which, once again, sucks for those of us outside the country, especially when we can literally see Michigan from our apartment windows!) and you must be over 18 to enter.
