Outlander Official Convention: Creation reveals new details for 2018 New Jersey convention

With Creation’s 2018 Outlander Official Convention inching closer, new details have begun to emerge giving fans a look at what to expect from this August’s New Jersey based con!

This January, Creation revealed its plans to expand its outreach as news broke that the pop culture event organizer would be rolling out its first ever Outlander Official Convention. The announcement quickly made headlines and the buzz was so overwhelming that Creation followed up its announcement in late February when it announced a second convention for July.

As buzz continues to expand, Creation is wasting no time in capitalizing on Outlander fans’ excitement by unveiling new details about the Outlander Official Convention set to take place this August in Secaucus, New Jersey!

Like most Creation cons, the Outlander Official Convention looks to bring Outlander fans an experience unlike any they’ve ever had before through its unique fan-driven events. Keeping with past tradition, Creation has lined up quite the weekend for fans making the trip out to New Jersey this August including those which will allow fans to show off their Outlander pride while interacting with fellow fans.

For those who love a little friendly competition, Creation has announced a special Yes/No Trivia Competition which will test fans’ knowledge of all-things Outlander while giving one fan the chance to walk away with a $1,000 grand prize.

Meanwhile, those with a creative side can take advantage of the convention’s Outlander Fan Music Video Contest and/or Costume Contest which will test fans’ video editing and costume design skills. Not only will the two events give fans the chance to show off their skills and Outlander love, but the winners in the two events will also receive gift certificates which can be used on Creation merchandise at the convention.

The weekend will also bring with it two music-infused events no convention attendee will want to miss beginning with a karaoke party hosted by Stephen Walters. With Walters at the helm, fans will be able to show off their vocal abilities with the help of some very special backup performers in the form of their favorite Outlander stars!

Come Saturday night, fans looking to keep the party going can join Walters for a live concert featuring a bevy of celebrity guests set to be revealed closer to the event. As fans who have attended any Creation convention in the past know, these special concerts never fail to deliver memories that last a lifetime and are always a must-see spectacle.

Fans can also look forward to special photo and autograph opportunities, but be sure to book your ticket soon because they’re quickly selling out!
