Ever wanted Outlander to offer a convention similar to Supernatural, Once Upon a Time and others?

Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, and The Vampires Diaries have one thing (other than show genre) in common. Creation hosts conventions for them. The conventions are dedicated to the single shows, with photo opportunities, autographs, karaoke and more. Now Outlander is joining in with the fun! That’s right, Creation is offering an Outlander-only convention for fans of the series and books.

On Jan. 9, Creation shared the New Jersey offering of Salute to Outlander. It will take place August 17-19, 2018. So far Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Steven Cree and Graham McTavish are all confirmed, but there are likely many more joining in the near future.

Creation is one of the most expensive conventions around. However, the convention is never overcrowded and there are always seats available for panels. This can make the experience more enjoyable for many fans. Of course, it will depend on your budget. There should be something for all budgets, but never put yourself in debt for the sake of a convention!

There are packages and single-day tickets available. The Creation website will have all the latest offerings, with Gold Packages on offer for $599 (as of Jan. 10). Autographs and photo ops are also available for purchase.

While children are welcome to the events, they are intended for adults. This shouldn’t be that surprising for Outlander, since the show and books are aimed towards the older fans.

If this proves popular, there may be many more Outlander conventions to come. Until then, there is Wizard World in Chicago, where Sam and Caitriona are currently confirmed to attend.
