How to watch The Great American Read live tonight

The Great American Read airs tonight on PBS and it’s a chance to delve into the top 100 books in the country. Outlander is on the list and this is a chance to see why.

Outlander has made it onto the list of the Top 100 books in PBS’ The Great American Read.  The show will delve into the reasons why the books that are on the list have the privilege of being there. This is an eight-episode program that will break down the various books on the list, before inviting the public to vote on their favorite for a final ranking of the top books.

Some of the books are a series lumped together. However, Outlander is on the list just for its first book in the series. Since it immediately captured the hearts of fans of all ages and the book series isn’t over yet, it’s not surprising that the book is on its own.

The series will involve authors, celebrities, and bloggers who share their love for their individual books. They’ll talk about what makes the 100 novels so great and why they deserve a place on the list. Then they’ll go into their favorites.

Viewers can vote from the very first episode, which is a two-hour special tonight. The voting takes place throughout the summer and the final list will be revealed in October.
