Outlander Book 9 Daily Lines have BEGUN!

Diehard Outlander book fans surely already know about Diana’s Daily Lines- wherein she posts small snippets of the book-in-progress on her Facebook page. In a new serial feature on Claire & Jamie, we’ll take a look at Diana’s snippets and fill our Droughtlander hearts with rumors and what-ifs.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! For those Outlander fans who have not read through Book 8 (Written In My Own Heart’s Blood), I highly recommend you stop reading NOW, or prepare yourself for some major spoilers!

Daily Lines are happening, people! SIT DOWN and prepare to have your Outlander heart filled with joy! Or anxiety. Or sadness. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll fall into a fit of hysteria…

You know what I mean.

Daily Lines, second only to a book release (or maybe Diana Gabaldon author event) is the single greatest thing to happen before Outlander books are released (Forgetting the TV show for the sake of this article…). And for those of you who don’t know, Outlander books can take between 3-6 years to write and publish, so we have a LONNNNGGGGG time to think, gossip, and squeal about rumors & spoilers. And cry.

Whoa. Hold the phone. What is a “Daily Line” and where can you find one?

Excellent question!

Daily Lines are small snippets and excerpts from sections of the current Outlander-in-progress that Diana is working on. She posts them to her Facebook page as little teasers and to keep rabid fans from chewing her head and ears off in between book releases.

Now, Diana herself has come out and said that she tries to post things that won’t be *too* spoilery, but we can’t help but let our imaginations run wild!!

Diana has asked that people not copy and paste the Daily Lines into posts such as this, so I will provide very VERY short snippets for you, then a link to the Facebook post where you can read the rest!

We’ll keep up with Daily Lines and post monthly or bi-monthly, so long as Diana is posting!
