The Outlander social media team figured it all out. Starting today, Frida, Dec. 5, you can watch one episode of Outlander per day to be ready for the Outlander season 8 premiere.
We know you’ll want to watch more than one episode of Outlander per day
Look, one thing we know is that it’s hard to just watch one episode of Outlander per day. However, with seven seasons, it can seem a little daunting for some to power through the episodes. There’s just so much going on in life, and if you have friends who are new to the series, then watching one episode per day is the best way to get through the series.
Of course, in the comments on the Facebook post, plenty of people questioned the idea of only watching one episode per day. Maybe see if you can do it as an actual challenge of only watching on episode per day.
Outlander season 8 is officially the final season
The Outlander season 8 premiere will air on Friday, March 6 on STARZ. This is officially the final season of the series, bringing us the end of the story as we know it on the TV. It’ll cover up to Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, and will presumably wrap some of those storylines in a way that makes sense for the show’s storytelling. After all, the 10th book isn’t out yet, and the showrunners and Diana Gabaldon have both said that there aren’t stories from the 10th book in the eighth season.
The Outlander season 8 finale will likely air around May 17, 2026. This would allow for a one-week break in the 10-episode season. Yes, there are 10 episodes to this final season, allowing a little more time than season 6 to complete the story.
We last left Claire and Jamie returning home to Fraser’s Ridge after Claire was shot and almost killed during the Revolutionary War. Jamie resigned in as a dramatic way as he possibly could before making sure to get the best surgeon for his wife — her own mentee, Denny.
Meanwhile, Brianna had figured out where Roger was in the past. Collecting her children, they headed through the stones, finding Roger and Buck in 1739 at Lallybroch. Now it’s time for them to figure out where they’ll go, but the Outlander season 8 teaser makes it clear they’ll head back to Fraser’s Ridge in Claire and Jamie’s time.
