Starz releases images of Outlander Season 7B, including one of Ian Murray
We may have to wait until November to see Outlander Season 7B, but Starz has released some more images. These ones are stills for the season, rather than behind-the-scene shots.
The images certainly give us a look at some returning faces. We can’t help but pull focus to one of Jamie and Ian Murray. We knew Steven Cree was back for some of Outlander Season 7, and now we get that first look. We’re just missing a first-look of Kristin Atherton as Jenny Murray.
Ian and Young Ian in photos of Outlander Season 7B
The photo of Ian Murray has him sitting on a wall with Jamie. He’s clearly aged with his hair now grey, and it looks like the two friends are sharing a quiet moment together as Jamie holds a flask. Jamie has a mournful look on his face, but that’s not the way Ian is looking back.
Those who know the books will know what’s to come for Ian Murray. There’s a reason Jamie looks so sorrowful.
Meanwhile, there’s a photo of Young Ian. He’s in a stable with a dagger in his hand. It looks like he’s warning someone off, but it’s hard to tell whether this happens in Scotland or America. We know that Young Ian gets back to America at some point based on the teaser for Outlander Season 7B. Is this the point Arch Bug attempts to make good on his promise?
Looks of Brianna and Roger timelines apart
There is also a shot of Brianna, who is sitting at a table with two people across from her. These two are sure to be police officers, as Brianna looks like she’s been crying and is angry or shocked at the situation. This has to be linked to Rob Cameron taking Jemmy.
It didn’t look like Brianna and Roger had reported Jemmy missing to the police before Outlander Season 7A came to an end. The focus was on getting to the stones so that Roger and Buck could travel through. Brianna will need to deal with the situation with Roger gone.
As for Roger, we have a photo of him in the past. He’s in the middle of a field with a tent set up. There’s no sign of Buck in this photo. Has Buck ran off? Did they have an argument? Or is Buck somewhere in that tent? It’s hard to tell as we figure out whether Roger can trust his ancestor or not.
Claire is in two photos for Outlander Season 7B
There are two images of Claire. One of those is with Jamie, which you can see at the top of this post. The two share a moment together, and it’s possible that they are still in Scotland at this point.
One thing that is clear is Claire will make it back to America. She’s in a shot with Lord John Grey, with John in his uniform and Claire with a worried look on her face. She’s dressed in Colonial clothing rather than something for Scotland, which gives away the fact that she gets back to America. Is this from that moment so many book fans are ready for?
