Starz has finally set the premiere date for Outlander Season 7B

We have had a long wait on our hands for Outlander Season 7B. The second half of the series will arrive in November, and now we officially have a release date.

Starz announced the premiere date on World Outlander Day. It makes sense to make use of this major date. We’re hoping to see Aug. 9, 2024 as the next time a huge announcement is made—such as the official full trailer—as that will mark a full 10 years since the series premiere of the show.

But for now, let’s keep the focus on the news Starz did bring us. It’s all about the end of this Droughtlander tunnel.

Outlander Season 7B premiere date

Outlander Season 7, Part 2 will premiere on Friday, Nov. 22. Yes, the series will remain on Friday nights. Starz has been pushing more and more shows on this night—although I’m sure I’ll have to wait until Sunday night to be able to watch it in Canada!

As with previous seasons, we’ll get episodes weekly. They will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the Starz channel, but episodes will be available by midnight ET that morning on the app.

The teaser trailer is available to watch. It hints that Young Ian will get back to the Colonies, despite landing in Scotland at the end of the 7A finale. We also see clips of Jamie fighting, Lord John Grey with a patch over his eye, and Brianna driving in tears. We can’t wait!

Will there be a break in the Outlander schedule?

We’re sure to see a week off at some point in the schedule. The question is when.

Starz could opt for a week off at the midway point. This would bring a break around Friday, Dec. 27, keeping the risk of a dip in the viewership due to the Christmas season. It does make the most sense, and it’s when a lot of other shows take some time off.

It does mean that the finale is going to air in 2025. We’ll have to wait until Friday, January 10 or Friday, January 17 depending on whether there is a break or not.
