Bridgerton adds a Harry Potter vet and more to Season 4
More stars are joining the cast of Bridgerton Season 4. Who will they all play?
Katie Leung is the biggest name in the latest casting announcement. Harry Potter fans will remember her as Cho Chang in the Harry Potter movies. She has since gone onto star in The Peripheral and The Wheel of Time.
TVLine reports that Leung will be joined by Michelle Mao and Isabella Wei in the new season. There are also a couple of Bridgerton recurring guest stars who have been upped to series regulars for Season 4.
Who will Katie Leung play in Bridgerton Season 4?
Leung will take on the role of Araminta Gun, a twice married and twice widowed woman who feels the pressure to find her daughters a husband this season. She does not respond well to anyone who threatens her standing in society. That could become a problem for Yerin Ha’s Sophie.
Mao will play Rosamund Li, the eldest daughter of Araminta. Rosamund has her sights set on Benedict Bridgerton this season, and she will do whatever it takes to get the man. After all, she is eager to please her mother, and she knows that this is something Araminta wants.
Then there’s Wei’s Posy Li, the younger daughter of Araminta. Posy is chatty and overfriendly, which can lead to her putting her foot in her mouth a little too much. That means her mom, wants to keep her away from the spotlight. Will Posy be the one to find love, though?
Who is promoted to series regular for Bridgerton Season 4?
Emma Naomi and Hugh Sachs have been promoted to series regular for the new season. They play Alice Mondrich and Brimsley respectively.
We also have confirmation that Ha will definitely take on the role of Sophie, who ends up becoming the woman that makes Benedict want to settle down. It’s a Cinderella style storyline, and yes, Araminta is part of that storyline. She is Sophie’s stepmother.
Bridgerton Season 4 isn’t expected to arrive until 2026 on Netflix. Production has started on the season.
