Outlander Season 7B trailer teases heartbreak for Claire

With the Outlander cast at NYCC 2024, it wasn’t surprising to get the trailer for Outlander Season 7B. It’s time to get ready for a potentially heartbreaking storyline.

At the end of Outlander Season 7A, Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian made it back to Scotland. Due to the death of Jamie’s kin, Simon Fraser, they were able to get a ship to Scotland so that Simon could be buried at home. That means Jamie, Claire, and Young Ian will head back to Lallybroch for some time.

Meanwhile, Bree and Roger found themselves separated by time. Roger went to the past with Buck to find Jemmy, who had been taken by Rob Cameron. Bree has stayed in the present day with Mandy, but is Jemmy in the past?

Outlander Season 7B teases heartbreak for Claire

During the trailer, we see that Claire is heading back to America without Jamie at first. Lord John Grey writes to Claire and Jamie to see if Claire can return. His nephew has been badly injured, and John needs someone as skilled as Claire to save him.

Jamie can’t leave, but Claire can. This leads to the two being separated, but it doesn’t look like that will happen for too long. We see Jamie in a blue coat and fighting for America once more. It suggests that he does make it back to American soil.

However, there is some bad news for Claire. Lord John Grey shares that something has happened to Jamie. Claire refuses to believe this, knowing that she would feel it in her heart if that was the case. She would feel like her death had happened as well. We know Claire and Jamie are as one.
