Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 5 gave us the Moses Valentine update we needed

After getting Moses Valentine back during Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 3, we wondered and hoped that we would get him back. Well, while we don’t get to see him, we did get a life update on Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 5.

At the beginning of Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 5, Eliza went to see Blake to share that she was going on a holiday. Yes, this is a real holiday, as she’s heading to Paris to see Moses. It looks like Moses kept his promise from the end of episode 3 to keep in touch with Eliza after all this time.

The Moses Valentine update we needed on Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 5

Of course, during Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 3, we all wondered why Moses wouldn’t come back to London. He shared with Eliza that not only does he have his business in Paris, but he also has a wife, and that wife was expecting a baby.

Well, it’s excellent news. Moses’s wife has had a baby. She had a boy, and Eliza was going to Paris to meet them all. You see, when Eliza isn’t doing something for a client, she will be open about where she is going. And we are sure that this is where she is going, because the information tracks back to everything Moses had previously said — Blake wasn’t privy to that conversation, but Eliza likely shared it.

Could we see Moses Valentine on Miss Scarlet season 7?

At this time, we’re still waiting for a renewal of the show. We’re not too worried about this, as the Miss Scarlet season 6 renewal didn’t come through until after the season 5 finale. There is still time to get the update. But, if it does happen, could we see Moses again?

We would love to, but he’s not going to come to London for any old reason. Maybe he could come over with his wife and son to show them where he used to do his work, but there’s no real reason for that. If Moses was going to come back into the show, he would need to get involved in a case in some way, and he’s only going to do that if someone close to him asks.

On Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 3, Nash had asked him to go to London to help with a matter. On Miss Scarlet season 7, we could see Eliza or Clarence getting in touch with him for help. Maybe Blake could get in touch. Although I will admit, it would be fun to see Eliza heading to Paris to help with a case instead!
