There is no doubt that we looked forward to Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 3 as soon as we saw Moses Valentine would be back. He’s certainly been missed on the show, and he has such a fun way to get the job done. So, now eyes are on whether he could return a little more permanently.
Don’t expect to see Moses return to London and make it as his home. This doesn’t rule out him coming back to help Eliza or for Eliza’s help in the future, but Paris is his home.

Moses Valentine has an exciting life in Paris on Miss Scarlet
Eliza asked Moses if he would stay in London after the jewel case, but he made it clear that that wasn’t an option. He has his own private investigation firm in Paris, but that’s not the only reason. He also revealed that he has a wife and a baby on the way.
That is exciting, and Moses deserves it. While he was somewhat questionable in his motives at time, he has always had a heart for those who needed help. And he has always done the right thing in the end. Just look at how he made sure that not only did he get the jewel, but the gang who killed one of their own was arrested.
Eliza wasn’t going to argue with his decision to remain in Paris. That is his home now, and he has a wonderful life because of it.

Could we see Moses back for an episode in the future of Miss Scarlet?
While we won’t see him on Miss Scarlet season 6, there is some hope in the future. That is if Miss Scarlet season 7 happens, and we’re certainly optimistic about it.
Moses gave Eliza his address in Paris. This allows the two of them to keep in touch. Of course, we know that the two are also still in touch with Patrick Nash, who pulled them both and Clarence in on the case during Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 3. This allows for a way to get Moses back in London, even if it’s just for an episode.
Maybe we could even see Eliza in Paris! Wouldn’t it be great for a case to take Eliza across to Europe, where she needs to turn to Moses for help? Of course, that takes out a lot of characters on the series for an episode, but it does work every now and then. Just look at how this episode didn’t feature much of Eliza and Blake, but it was still everything we needed!
The beauty of this series is that we can get characters popping up now and then. Even if Moses isn’t there in person, we can hear about his life in Paris now that Eliza has an address.
Miss Scarlet airs on Sundays at 8/7c on PBS.
