While we love Clarence, losing Moses Valentine hit hard on Miss Scarlet. Then we lost Patrick Nash, and it felt like all the great supporting characters were going. Well, Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 3 brings us some exciting news, as Moses Valentine is back.
The promo makes it clear that not only is Moses back, but there’s someone new joining the team. It’s likely only for an episode, but this woman is sure to make things much more difficult. As Moses says, she’s a “liability” with the way she talks about the diamond.
It’s all about a treasure hunt on Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 3
The episode will bring Moses back to London with one task. He needs to sell a priceless diamond, and London seems to be the place to do it. Of course, that leads to issues for everyone else, as people are sure to talk when it comes to a priceless diamond.
It’s even worse when someone else is shouting loudly all about it. Is the woman dumb enough to carry it on her when she walks into a London pub? She certainly seems like she could be, and this could lead to a much bigger situation.
After all, the promo makes it clear that there’s a dead body in Clarence’s apartment, and someone is setting them up for the murder. Now, if only Clarence knew an inspector at Scotland Yard who may be able to help fix the situation. But poor Moses, who has to deal with another frame-up!

Clarence needs to prove himself on Miss Scarlet
The return of Moses likely isn’t going to sit very well with Clarence, though. He likely fears that he’s going to lose his current employment. What are the chances that Eliza could offer Moses a job, especially with Patrick Nash in Australia? He’s going to want to prove himself so that he remains part of Eliza’s team.
Speaking of Nash, though, he does get a mention in the promo. It looks like he has something to do with this treasure hunt and the diamond. Is it possible that he didn’t go to the place he said he would back on Miss Scarlet season 5? Could we find out that he’s also back in London? It would be so good to see Felix Scott again!
For now, though, we’ll take the return of Moses. He’s always good fun, and it even looks like Eliza is grateful to see him. I can’t wait to find out why she holds a knife to his throat!
Miss Scarlet airs on Sundays at 8/7c on PBS.
