Is Benedict Arnold in Outlander Season 7A?
Benedict Arnold is one of the real historical figures coming into Outlander at some point. Will it happen in Outlander Season 7A?
We know that Benedict Arnold is going to be in Outlander Season 7. Rod Hallett has been cast in the role of this very real person from history. Now eyes are on when he could show up in the seventh season.
Is it possible that we’ll get him in the first eight episodes? Will we need to wait until the episodes that will air in 2024? We’re mostly looking at the promotional footage for this, but we’ll also share some book spoilers to understand when Benedict Arnold shows up in the story. They are minor book spoilers, though.
Will Benedict Arnold be in Outlander Season 7A?
The promotional footage doesn’t show Arnold. At least, if he is there, it’s not all that clear. So, it looks like we won’t get the historical figure in the first half of the season.
The trailer focuses on some big events, with the Siege of Fort Ticonderoga being one of them. While Arnold doesn’t show up in that siege, he does show up in a battle shortly after it. The seventh book brings up the Battle of Saratoga, and it’s the aftermath of this that leads Jamie and Claire to Scotland. We have seen some images from filming that show the two and Young Ian in Scotland, so it looks like that part of the story is going to happen.
There are no guarantees that the Battle of Saratoga will happen in Outlander Season 7A. However, this is when Jamie has to face his son on the other side of the battlefield, which is something he never wanted to do. We know that moment is shown in the trailer for the first eight episodes.
All this put together suggests that we’ll see Benedict Arnold in Outlander Season 7A.
