Is Tom Christie in Outlander Season 7A?
We saw Tom Christie with Claire at the end of Outlander Season 6. Will he still be there to make sure she gets a trial in Outlander Season 7A?
Tom Christie loves Claire. I think the Outlander Season 6 finale also showed us that he knows Claire didn’t kill his daughter. However, he couldn’t stop the angry mob. Instead of fighting, he worked to ensure that Claire got a trial.
That’s where we ended things in Outlander Season 6. Tom gave Claire money for her maintenance while in jail, but he can’t stay there. Was that it, or will we see him again in Outlander Season 7A? If you’ve read the books, you know the story. We’re keeping this book spoiler-free for the show-first and show-only fans.
Will Tom return in Outlander Season 7A?
If you look carefully at the promo for the first eight episodes of Outlander Season 7, you’ll see Tom Christie is there. It’s not clear where in the story that takes place though. It’s clear that at some point the Big House goes up in flames and Claire and Jamie leave the Ridge. Is Tom still at the Ridge at this time? (Again, yes, there is the book storyline but no spoilers here!)
What is clear right now is that Tom will be back in some sort of way. It could be to get word to Jamie about where Claire is—although Young Ian already knows that—or it could be to find out who the real murderer was. It could also be to return Claire to the Ridge, however, she ends up being saved from that noose around her neck.
There isn’t long to wait to find out now. Outlander Season 7A premieres on Friday, June 16 on STARZ.
