Season 3 is based on the book Voyager by Diana Gabaldon. It picks up with Claire and Jamie separated for 20 years, with a glimpse of the things they went through. It takes almost half the season to see Claire and Jamie find each other again, and things aren’t easy when they are back together.

Meanwhile, we also get to know a little more about Brianna and Roger. We initially met them in the Outlander Season 2 finale, but the third season tells us a little more about them. It’s still not quite enough for the series overall, but it gets us started.

There is some good news. You can watch the third season of the time-traveling drama on Netflix. The season was added back in December 2019, marking two years from when the finale aired on STARZ.

All 13 episodes are available on the streaming platform. The downside is that you don’t get the Inside the World snippets at the end of all the episodes. You’ll need STARZ for those parts of the episodes.

So far, only four seasons of the series are available to stream on Netflix. To catch up on Season 5, you will need to get STARZ. It won’t be on Netflix until May 2022 at the earliest, and that is if the agreement still stands. Season 6 is arriving on STARZ in early 2022, so you’ll need STARZ to catch up on the full series so far.
