When will Men in Kilts Season 2 come to STARZ?

We’ve finished with Men in Kilts Season 1, allowing Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish to take us on a journey around Scotland. When is Men in Kilts Season 2 coming out?

We start with some bad news. Men in Kilts Season 2 isn’t officially happening just yet. While Graham McTavish is certainly down for another season, STARZ hasn’t canceled or renewed the show just yet.

That’s not all too surprising. Sam Heughan is busy with Outlander Season 6 filming right now. There’s a chance the two co-stars haven’t had a chance to look at a plan for Men in Kilts Season 2 to pitch it to STARZ.

This doesn’t mean Season 2 won’t happen. If it does, we need to look at when it could arrive on STARZ?

When will Men in Kilts Season 2 come out?

Is there a chance we’ll see it in 2021? Definitely not. The show would need to film and go through post-production, and there just isn’t enough time for that. After all, this show requires the two stars to drive around Scotland and figure out which parts of history and tradition they’re going to look into.

Heughan is currently filming Outlander Season 6, and that has to take priority. He’ll likely be filming that until at least September 2021 if not into later in the year. That means he won’t get to Men in Kilts Season 2 (if it happens) until the end of 2021 at the very earliest.

We’re potentially looking at the end of 2022 if the season does happen. It’s hard to say with STARZ shows because there’s never really been a set layout for them. It just depends on which shows and ready to fit into the schedule.
