We now know Men in Kilts will premiere in early 2021. Of course, that gives us a rough guide on when we can watch Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish’s road trip around Scotland.

While there isn’t an official date yet, we can make a guess on the Men in Kilts premiere date. There aren’t many confirmed STARZ Originals coming up, which helps to narrow down a date possible.

STARZ tends to only have one original airing at a time. Sometimes, it will opt for two, especially during the fall or when there is a new show piggybacking off a bigger show. It makes sense to get viewers to tune into the newer series.

Men in Kilts could follow Power Book II: Ghost and American Gods

With so few originals, airing one at a time makes a lot of sense. Power Book II: Ghost will air its second half of the season starting tomorrow, Dec. 6. There are five episodes to air, so we’re looking at Jan. 3 for the finale at the earliest.

That’s likely as American Gods Season 3 will premiere on Jan. 10. With 10 episodes to the season, we’re looking at the season finishing in the middle of March 2021.

It’s possible we’re waiting that long for Men in Kilts. It’s still technically early 2021. Another option is to run just half the season of American Gods and bring Men in Kilts in February.

Could Men in Kilts and American Gods air on the same day?

It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then there will be two originals airing at the same time. This suggests that Men in Kilts and American Gods could begin on the same day. One episode would air at 8 p.m. and the next would run at 9 p.m.

With filming delayed on so many productions, running shows concurrently doesn’t make a lot of sense. But stranger things have happened. Just keep in mind we’ve only had a teaser trailer so far. There’s still a full trailer to come, which suggests the show isn’t coming too soon.
