Outlander Season 5 finale images: Jamie pays a certain Brown a visit

Three images for the Outlander Season 5 finale have been released. They give very little for the episode away but do tell us Jamie will visit Brownsville.

STARZ isn’t giving much away when it comes to the Outlander Season 5 finale. The promo tells us that Claire’s abduction means war and the synopsis tells us Claire is going to face a harrowing ordeal. The images give us little extra to work with.

Three images for the Outlander Season 5 finale have been released. The first (the featured image for this post) is that of Jamie, who is clearly at Brownsville. The image goes with our next image.

Jamie is paying a visit to Brownsville to see Richard Brown. This makes sense since I don’t think it will take long for Jamie to work out that Claire has been abducted by Lionel Brown. After all, Marsali will likely recognize the men that attacked. Just a mention of a man wearing a red coat should be enough to help solve the mystery.

Marsali will also know that Lionel was displeased with Claire. Or she’ll just know that Lionel has hurt his wife. It will be enough to put the clues together. After all, the timing of the attack is suspicious.

Naturally, Jamie will likely want to know if Richard has any involvement. Was the attack retaliation for Jamie refusing to join the Browns? Or could Richard just know where Lionel is hiding and has taken Claire.

In the third image, we see a photo of something from the Outlander Season 5 finale promo. Young Ian is putting on his war paint. This continues to suggest that Young Ian has made it back to Fraser’s Ridge.

Will it mean Claire has been with her captors for two weeks? Was there another timelapse between Claire and Jamie in the cabin and the attack on the house? That’s not clear right now, but there’s no way that Young Ian will let anyone hurt his favorite aunt.

What we don’t get to see if whether Roger, Brianna, and Jemmy will be back. We don’t know if they made it to another time or they are stuck in the 18th century for now. Will that be covered in the final episode of the season? There isn’t too long to wait to find out.
