When Outlander is on, it’s all we can think about. That’s certainly the case during Season 5, which has left us on a cliffhanger for a mini Droughtlander.

5. Sweetbitter

First up is Sweetbitter, which has two seasons to binge-watch. Ella Purnell is Tess, who gets a job in a restaurant. She’s ready to work hard, but she soon learns that she needs to play the restaurant game if she wants to survive.

Tess realizes that the book knowledge she has isn’t going to be enough. And she’s ready to learn more; to gain experience. That could mean pushing others aside and fighting for positions. Can she keep her new friends at the same time?

Then there are others who don’t have the appetite for the business in the way that Tess does. She needs to figure out if pushing is really going to be worth it.
