Is Outlander on tonight, Sunday, April 5?

It’s a Sunday night, and that means we’re ready for more of our favorite time-traveling drama. So, is Outlander Season 5 on tonight, April 5?

You likely have a lot of questions right now. Whether you’re a fan of the books or you’re a show-first fan, the last episode of Outlander left us on a major cliffhanger. Will we see an episode of Outlander Season 5 tonight, Sunday, Apr. 5?

There’s some bad news but there is some good news at the same time. While there isn’t a new episode of the series on tonight, you can watch the show through STARZ.

Outlander Season 5, Episode 8 isn’t airing tonight. It’s not exactly clear why that is, but it’s not uncommon for STARZ to choose to put a break partway through the season. While it didn’t happen during Season 4, there was a huge midseason break in the first season, a week off before the Season 2 finale, and a week off during Season 3 when Claire went back through the stones.

So, this shouldn’t feel all that off. The good news is that the new episode will air next Sunday instead. So, you’re waiting until Apr. 12.

Great, but what about tonight? Well, you can still watch the show. STARZ is putting on a marathon. Starting at 5 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, Apr. 5, STARZ will air the fifth season in full up to this point. We’ll stat with Episode 1, titled “The Fiery Cross,” and be able to watch all the through to “The Ballad of Roger Mac.”

Episode 7 will air at 11 p.m. Since many of you won’t have work, I’m sure you won’t mind staying up to binge-watch the entire fifth season. Of course, if you have the STARZ App, you can watch the seven episodes so far whenever you want!
