The images for Outlander Season 5, Episode 6 are out. We have two storylines taking place, with Claire and Jamie at Jocasta’s wedding and Bree and Roger dealing with a situation on Fraser’s Ridge. Here’s a look at the images to see what we can expect.

When it comes to Claire and Jamie, it’s mostly about the wedding at River Run. Jocasta will marry Duncan Innes, which shouldn’t be surprising considering the Season 5 premiere. She told Murtagh that Duncan has proposed and Murtagh couldn’t give her a reason not to marry.

Of course, she doesn’t look all that happy about her wedding day. She’ll certainly be thinking a lot about her secret lover, someone she has had to say goodbye to as he fights for what he believes in. There was no way Jocasta could go on the run with Murtagh, so marrying Duncan is her best option.

What is fun is seeing the photos of the guest stars for the episode. With the images for “Better to Marry Than Burn,” we see Lord John Grey is back. Does he have more information about Stephen Bonnet?

Meanwhile, Claire and Jamie will face a situation. Philip Wylie is back, which we knew was going to be the case. This is likely linked to the reason why Jamie wants Claire’s ring from Frank. It’s got nothing to do with disrespecting Frank’s memory or Claire’s connection to Frank but everything about a situation with Wylie.

Those who have read the books will know all about it. I’ll bring a spoilery filled post tomorrow with more details about this storyline for those who want to know. Other than that, just expect some drama.

Finally, it’s all about the Ridge. Brianna and Roger are left in charge, and it would be at a time of a plague of what look like locusts. They’re threatening to damage the crops, so it’s going to be up to our second power couple to make a decision over what to do with the crops.

Marsali and Fergus will be in the episode based on one of the images. Hopefully, they help Bree and Roger make a decision, standing by whatever their choice is in the end.
