Outlander Season 5, Episode 6 extended synopsis tells us there’s a wedding

There’s an extended synopsis out for Outlander Season 5, Episode 6. We get the reveal of another wedding happening. Whose is it?

There’s another wedding happening in Outlander Season 5, Episode 6. We knew a second wedding was going to happen. Now we know when and who will be getting married.

The extended synopsis for “Better to Marry Than Burn,” reveals that Jocasta is the one getting married. We know that this will be to Duncan Innes. It follows the book storyline and was already hinted at in the Season 5 premiere. Jocasta told Murtagh that Duncan Innes had proposed marriage and she was going to accept unless Murtagh gave her a reason not to.

Jamie isn’t the only person at the wedding. Well, of course, we knew Claire would head there, too, but there’s also a Redcoat heading to the wedding. Governor Tryon will be there, and he reveals his true intentions for ending the Regulator threat. Was this because he knew they would kick up their actions if they didn’t feel like there was too much pushback?

One thing we have to wonder is whether Tryon feels like Jamie had something to do with Knox’s death. Is that going to come back to haunt Jamie?

Meanwhile, Claire gets a lead on a former enemy. Is this going to be Stephen Bonnet? Is there another former enemy who could cause a problem for the Frasers right now? The price for the information is higher than she anticipates. Does this have something to do with her removing her wedding rings in the promo?

Then there’s Roger and Brianna, who will remain at the ridge. There’s an imminent threat, which looks to be a threat to the crops. Will they be able to stop the threat or are they out of their depth?
