Outlander Season 5, Episode 2 saw the focus turn to the Regulators and a certain villain returned. Here are my five favorite moments from the episode.

I know there are many who didn’t quite like Outlander Season 5, Episode 2. Personally, I really enjoyed it and that’s after reading “The Fiery Cross.” I feared that I’d not enjoy the show as much, but I’ve always liked when shows are willing to make a few changes here and there.

I’ve already shared my favorite Jamie and Roger moments. Tomorrow, I’ll look at my favorite Claire and Brianna moments. However, there are other moments throughout the episode that stand out, pushing the storylines forward and delivering other tales that need to be focused on.

That does mean some of these moments won’t include the top moments from our main characters. When I choose best moments from an episode, I look at the side characters and consider the overall storylines that are happening. Here are my five favorite moments from Outlander Season 5, Episode 2.

5. Showing the horrors of the Regulators

While there was a lot of violence, I love that the show hasn’t stepped away from showing us the truth. The start of “The Fiery Cross” mostly just mentioned the things that the Regulators had done. Due to the way the novels are written, we didn’t get to see things first hand.

That’s changed with the series. We’re able to see what the Regulators are up to. It shows what they stood for and why people were scared of them. We get to see the horrors of their attacks, which left me unable to fully support them. I’m glad the show isn’t afraid to keep showing us these storylines.
