Outlander Season 5, Episode 2 photos: What’s in store for the Frasers and MacKenzies?
After a lavish wedding, life naturally had to get back to normal. The photos for Outlander Season 5, Episode 2 make it clear the trouble begins.
The Outlander Season 5, Episode 2 photos are finally here. I’ve been looking out for these all week to bring them, giving everyone an idea of the things to come. After the lavish wedding, it’s clear that trouble is on its way.
Really, that was clear at the end of the Season 5 premiere. Naturally, we couldn’t just have fun. There had to be a moment of drama, which came in the form of Governor Tryon. Jamie has his orders and now he’s done the call to arms. That means it’s time to deal with the Regulators.
The sneak peek has already shown that is going to happen. Jamie and Hamilton Knox are heading off to deal with trouble, and they’re not necessarily going to get along. Knox isn’t prepared to admit that the poor aren’t going to offer the rich(er) respect when the rich hasn’t really done much to deserve it.
The images give us more trouble when the two reach their destination. It’s clear they come across a few Regulators in a jail cell. What could possibly go wrong with a sword drawn?

While Jamie deals with trouble there, Claire is dealing with issues at the Ridge. Her problems are more of a semi-natural situation. Claire has to deal with illnesses and diseases affecting the people of the Ridge. At the same time, she’s dealing with the “cures” for these illnesses, cures that end up speeding up the death process.
It looks like Brianna is going to offer some help, but we also know that Marsali will become Claire’s apprentice. Will that happen during this episode? What does look possible is Claire finding a way to get information out to the people of the Ridge. If you’ve read “The Fiery Cross,” you’ll know what that means. If you don’t mind spoilers, you’ll want to find out Claire’s trick to work with 18th-century minds.

Claire also has the chance to talk with Roger. It’s clear Roger isn’t quite settled in the past and Claire doesn’t want him, Brianna, or Jemmy to stay when there’s a safer time for them to live. Will she encourage them all to leave the past?
