In just a few hours, you’ll be able to watch Outlander Season 5, Episode 2 on STARZ. If you have the STARZ App, you can watch it now. Before you get into the episode, though, here’s a small sneak peek of one of the scenes.

Entertainment Weekly brought us the sneak peek, offering us a look at a conversation between Jamie and Knox. As you’ll remember from the premiere, Governor Tryon left Hamilton Knox behind to help with the building of the militia. Tryon doesn’t fully trust Jamie, so he’s making sure a man he can trust is helping to deal with the Regulators.

It looks like the two could get along. They seem to be able to have a good and respectful conversation until Knox gives alms to the poor. When there’s no gratitude, Knox is unimpressed. He expected a thank you.

As Jamie points out, it’s hard to remember manners when you and your family is starving. This is something Jamie will understand. The last thing he would have done was thank a member of the British Army. After all, the Army was viewed as part of the reason for the problems.

Of course, Knox believes the uniform should lead to respect. This is at a time when nobody would admit that respect means being respectful; you have to earn it and not expect it. However, all those who wear the King’s uniform believed they deserved immediate respect. Sadly, some officers in the military still believe this.

It could certainly set up a strained relationship between the two. Of course, that means plenty of drama.
