Outlander Season 5, Episode 2 synopsis: Between Two Fires

We couldn’t have pure happiness for long on Outlander Season 5, could we? Of course not! The drama technically already started, but the second episode is going to see it intensify. Get ready for Outlander Season 5, Episode 2 by looking at the synopsis.

Titled “Between Two Fires,” this episode will see Jamie and Lieutenant Knox join forces to hunt down Murtagh. Jamie doesn’t actually want to do this, but he has no choice. It’s clear Governor Tryon doesn’t think Jamie is doing his best work, so decided to leave Knox to keep an eye on things.

We can expect some time to get to know each other. There may even be an initial bond that strikes up. However, this is the British Army and militia against the Regulators. You just know things aren’t going to be all that easy. Jamie isn’t even sure he’s on the right side of history just yet.

While Jamie is off with Knox, Claire needs to tend to patients at the Ridge. One of those comes in with an ailment that could have been treated, but he dies from it. Now it’s up to Claire to figure out why he died, how his illness was made all the more worse, and how she can help people on the Ridge in a time without medicine.

We know that Claire is going to use modern medicine to help the people at the Ridge. She needs to make penicillin first, and it all starts here.

As for Brianna and Roger, it’s hard to say what the two are up to. They’re not mentioned in the Outlander Season 5, Episode 2 synopsis. I’ll leave you with the synopsis so you can read it for yourself.
