Relax with an ambient stream from Outlander

STARZ is pushing the promotion for Outlander, and not always in the most conventional of ways. One of the latest has been an ambient stream for relaxation.

STARZ wants to make sure you’re ready for Outlander Season 5. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been ready for this season since the Season 4 finale aired in 2019. But, just in case you’ve somehow overlooked the date, the premium cable network has been pushing promotion.

This promotional material isn’t all in the most conventional of ways. While we’ve had some trailers, sneak peeks, and beautiful images, STARZ has also opted for some videos that will help with relaxation. The latest of those is an ambient stream.

Streams are all around the Frasers. They’ve been there from the first season, with a stream used as a way for Dougal to know whether he can trust Claire. In the fourth season, trouble between the German Mueller family and the Cherokees escalated because the Cherokees drank from the stream. After all, Water belongs to nobody.

Water is a source of life. It replenishes our bodies. We use it for washing. It’s a needed part of our day-to-day lives.

A running stream is also extremely relaxing. Some of the best places I’ve lived have had water nearby. I regularly take my dogs for a walk near a local stream because I find the rushing water so relaxing. So, the Outlander promotion is something I can relate to.

It’s an hour-long video like previous ones of the Yule log (featuring Adso) and of Claire’s surgery. It’s a chance to just sit back and have the clip playing. Get ready for Season 5 by running it tonight while you wait for the premiere on your STARZ App.
