Sasnak City 2020: Tim Downie is the first guest confirmed to attend

Sasnak City 2020 tickets are now open to purchase, and the first guest announcement has been made. Tim Downie is officially returning to the Outlander con.

If you were waiting for some guest announcements before you grabbed your Sasnak City 2020 tickets, you’ll love the recent news. Tim Downie is the first guest confirmation for the Outlander convention.

Tickets are on sale right now, but you’ll want to act fast if you want one of the higher tiers. Fraser’s Ridge is already sold out completely and it won’t be long before Lallybroch sells out too. You can still get your hands on installment plans for Lallybroch, Leoch, and Craigh Na Dun tickets if you need to spread out the costs.

Downie attended Sasnak City 2019, and was one of the best guests you will ever meet. He’s full of energy, loves chatting to fans, and will take part in fun poses for the solo photographs. I asked him if he’d do the Wonder Woman pose because it was at the request of my seven-year-old and he was more than happy to oblige.

He also has some excellent stories to tell from his career, as well as from Outlander. One of those involves a duck, which I sincerely hope makes the gag reel for Season 5!

Guests for the event will be announced over the coming months. The can only be announced once contracts are fully signed, sealed, and delivered.

However, to be upfront, don’t expect Sam Heughan or Caitriona Balfe. Their appearances would make the tickets even more expensive than they are and there is a high risk of the two of them canceling due to their schedules. After all, there’s a risk of any guest canceling if an acting job comes up.
