4 more cast members joining Outlander Season 5
Outlander is finally bringing casting announcements, although for the smaller roles in the show. Four more cast members are joining Outlander Season 5.
If you were hoping for confirmation of the man playing William “Buck” MacKenzie in Outlander Season 5, that’s sadly not come. However, the social media team for the show did bring us officially casting announcements for four characters.
This news comes shortly after confirmation of the one man to play both Beardsley twins, among other casting news earlier this week. It looks like the show is trying to make up for the lack of casting announcements throughout Droughtlander. This announcement brings four faces in some of the smaller roles in the show.

The first to be announced was Jon Tarcy as Isaiah Morton. The man is a bigamist in the books, and he appears in “The Fiery Cross” as someone the Browns are attempting to kill. Roger and Fergus have to defuse the situation as they’re trying to build Jamie’s militia.
Jon Tarcy is best known for Stan Lee’s Lucky Man in 2016. He also played Octavius and Varrius/Demetrius in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s live performances of Julias Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra respectively.
We've got more casting news for you, clan! Meet Isaiah Morton (Jon Tarcy) and the Browns: Lionel (Ned Dennehy), Richard (Chris Larkin), and Alicia (Anna Burnett).

The Brown family
With Isaiah Morton comes the Brown family, so it’s not all that surprising three members have been named as part of Outlander Season 5 casting news. Ned Dennehy, Chris Larkin, and Anna Burnett have been cast in the roles of Lionel, Richard, and Alicia Brown.
We first meet Lionel and Richard as they’re trying to kill Isaiah due to his relationship with Alicia. There is a lot to the story that we won’t get into here, but it will certainly offer an intriguing storyline for an episode at the very least. The brothers also appear during the Battle of Alamance, which is set to take place in Season 5, since it happens in “The Fiery Cross.”
You’ll know Dennehy from roles in Good Omens, Peaky Blinders, and most recently, Dublin Murders. Larkin has been in Valkyrie and the STARZ Original Black Sails. Burnett has been in Ripper Street and Darkest Hour.
