Outlander cast ready for a fun-filled weekend at Sasnak City
Sasnak City is just days away. The Outlander cast members who are attending have shared their updates of their journey, ready for a fun-filled weekend.
Sasnak City takes place this weekend. It’s an Outlander-focused convention with plenty of cast members both past and present attending. No, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe won’t be there, but that certainly doesn’t take away from the fun. And the cast members who are attending are getting ready for a fun-filled weekend.
It all kicks off tomorrow afternoon and will finish Sunday. There are dinners, photo ops, autographs, and parties to attend. Completely sold out, attendees (including me) are getting ready to go. I’m just a little behind most people still having to work today and not getting to fly until 6am tomorrow!

While there have sadly been some cancellations due to Season 5 still filming, there is plenty of fun to be had. The cast members have shared updates of their journeys to get us all excited.
This is Colin McFarlane’s first Outlander convention and he’s traveling today. He has certainly been advised to ask one of his co-stars what to expect at the convention. After all, Sasnak City is known for its fun, games, and wild time.

Kyle Rees got into the city yesterday and is making the most of his time. He even met up with Gary Lewis, who is also attending Sasnak City, to enjoy exploring. It’s great to see two actors who haven’t shared screen time on the show to meet up in person!

Meanwhile, Tim Downie is taking a more scenic route. He’s headed to New Orleans before getting into Kansas City for the convention. Hey, why not, right?
Others attending include Graham McTavish, Maria Doyle Kennedy, David Berry, and Cesar Domboy. Most are already on their way or already in the city.
This is certainly sure to be an exciting event. The cast is clearly excited to meet fans and spend some quality time. And it will be quality time. After all, there are dinners to go to. This is more than just your usual convention where you see them on the stage, get a quick photo, and move on.
