Outlander encourages a Keep STARZ fight

Comcast Xfinity is likely dropping STARZ as part of basic packages. Outlander wants you to put up a fight to Keep STARZ if you’re a Comcast customer.

STARZ has warned Comcast Xfinity customers that the network is disappearing. Due to contract negotiations, it’s going to cost a lot more to get the channel as an Xfinity customer. And understandably fans of Outlander, Power, and more are worried. They don’t want to spend the extra.

That’s why Outlander is encouraging fans to put up a fight. Like it did when other cable providers looked like there was going to be a blackout of the channel, the premium cable network is encouraging Comcast Xfinity customers to go to KeepStarz.com to put up a fight to keep the channel.

Of course, STARZ isn’t disappearing entirely. It will likely be available as an extra package. However, you won’t be able to get it with your current packages that you do have. And Comcast isn’t going to give you anything extra, so you’ll be paying the same amount/more for much less.

You could just go direct to STARZ, whether to the app itself or through something like Amazon Channels or Hulu. You’ll get access to the app directly, allowing you to watch your favorite STARZ Originals whenever you would like. You’ll also get the newest season immediately. You only pay $8.99 per month for everything and there are often some special offers to get it for much less throughout the year. With Black Friday coming up, I’d look out for an offer then.

But if you prefer to watch through your cable provider, you can fight. You can make it clear that you’re not interested in paying more. While STARZ and Comcast fight, the only real people losing out are the customers who watch the channel. It’s about time they put the customers first.
